China’s crude steel production hit all-time high in early May

According to statistics released by China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China's daily crude steel output totaled 2.193 million tons in the first 10 days of May, rising by 3% from the previous 10 days.

Meanwhile, the CISA member mills' daily crude steel output was at 1.748 million tons, rising by 2.7% from 10 days ago.

In addition, China's crude steel output averaged at 2.188 million tons per day in April, rising by 2.3% month on month.
